Depends what your looking for if you like seafood try the Mussell Inn on Bath Street (I think) not far from central station and very reasonable ...

Di Maggio's just off Buchanan Street, excellent value and great food in very pleasant surrounding's.

That's my idea of mid budget, but maybe thats not everyone's opinion.

Meal for 2 having 2 courses i have found usually approx, Ã‚Â£25 -Ã‚Â£30.....thats including soft drinks.

THERE'S a lovely little italian restaurant on Great Western Road called Gambrino's. I would well recommend it - v cosy and intimate and always seems to be busy. But most important of all the foods yummy and its realy well priced, cheap almost!
