What is the best modded nerf gun?

I'm considering getting a nerf gun or two. I figure that they'd be fun to tinker with, as well as to shoot at people. Now, which nerf gun would be the best for me? I'm not talking about just plain stock though. I'm talking about after you put some time into modifying it (internally, not cosmetically). Just one thing though: mods would have to be cheap, nothing that includes rail extensions, or anything that requires more than rather simple tools. Id prefer to stay away from the longshot, since I heard its difficult to modify. And a link to a mod site would be nice :).

Oh, and lastly, for discussions sake, does anybody know about the future of nerf? I heard of their fully automatic SAW version of a nerf gun (which looks sweet) that is coming out, but is there anything else planned for 2008-beyond?

Yes the Nerf 'Vulcan' is coming out in Fall of 2008. As for Mods go. I prefer to mod the Nitefinder, very simple yet powerful nerf. Tools needed, screwdriver and a razor blade. Simply take out the air restricter. that will increase your power and speed, also if you dont mind spending 2 dollors, go to the nearest hardware store and get a bigger spring for more power.
