  1. Stowe Vermont

    -Not a lot of tourist

    -Great snow

-lots of rocks and drop offs

SugarBush is rad as well but I like Stowe Better.  Kilington sucks and mount snow is ok.   It depends on your region.

  2. I'm from Boston and know a lot of the mountains in New England pretty well. Can't really help with mid-atlantic states. Of course people have different preferences.

While I want to head out west to ride as much as possible, I grew up here and there are lots of fun places to ride.

My favorite mountain is probably Sunday River. It's one of the biggest mountains on the east coast, and has 8 peaks with all different kind of terrain. It's basically good for everyone, because they have a little of everything -  steeps, moguls, cruisers, terrain parks, trees, etc. It's very spread out with lots of lifts so there are not long waits ever and people there are very chill.

Jay Peak in northern Vermont is another good moutain. It's  near the top for New England mountains for the amount of snow it gets, and you can often actually find powder there, and they have lots of glades.

Other good mountains are Loon, NH (focuses on terrain parks, cruisers), Mount Sunapee (small friendly, local type place in NH with great terrain park), and Sugarloaf, Maine (some good steeps and was one of the last mountains to close out here, but gets very cold and windy in mid-winter).

  3. i think its wait i dont know im sorry

  4. Hunter mtn. b/c of their various terrains
