I have two movies that I think he played a good role in...

The Chronicles of Riddick of course, and A Man Apart. He was also good in x*x, Pitch Black and The Fast and the Furious.

Pitch Black took more acting skill.  But I preferred Fast & Furious for watchability.

Riddick as a character is just to comic book, a bit Riddickulous?

That role promises much but the plots are really quite weak.

Hm.. haven't seen too many Vin Diesel movies. In fact, maybe i've seen three? The newest one is supposed to be preposterous (5% reviews are good on rotten tomatoes so far). But! He's s**y in x*x so that's my answer.

definitely pitch black. fast and the furious was good as well but pitch black was actually a very strong movie, and vin diesel was one of the best things in it. his character was a dark anti-hero, and i think a lot of people were expecting him to do more of those types of roles after. instead, he did the pacifier. and a lot of people were disappointed
