  1. Yeah, Chicago is good. The new Hairspray is very good as well.

  2. The Wall for sure but Tommy is a close second. I also liked Romeo and Juliet (the one with Claire Danes)

  3. Sweeney Todd. How can you not love broadway musicals mixed with blood and insanity lol

  4. sound of music, phantom of opera the movie, annie, hairspray

  5. I agree with Contributor...Moulin Rouge all the way

  6. "Cabaret" is my favorite musical. I'm actually not very fond of musicals but I take to "Cabaret" because the "book" is an adaption of "I am a Camera," which I think is a fine little play, and the music and dance is designed to depress and produce serious thought which is the exact opposite of most musicals. Joel Gray, as the Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Club. is highly effectual and fascinating to watch and Lisa Minnelli is perfect as Sally Bowles. Basically, "Cabaret" is a depressing musical about doomed people in one of the most corrupt cities that has ever existed, and the film couldn't be better or more compelling.; I think it is sublime.

  7. The King and I (the original one not the stupid non-musical Jodi Foster one)

  8. I know it's animated but Disney's Beauty and the Beast

  9. Sweeney Todd. I loved the music. It was dark and beautiful all at the same time. Johnny can sing.

  10. Greese

  11. Saturday Night Fever.....yeah I said it, LOL!! I love that movie! :-)

  12. Moulin Rouge...it brought back on scene the musical film genre.
