  1. The 2002 Pennsylvania 500 wasn't the greatest race I ever saw, but it holds the most significance for me. This is because it was the first race I watched every lap of and my favorite driver, Bill Elliott won the race.

  2. 1998 daytona 500 Dale Sr. finally gets his daytona win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. For me the answer is the 2008 Daytona 500, and that is because Newman won after 81 races with no wins!

  4. The Darlington race where #32 Ricky Craven in a Pontiac beat #97 Kurt Busch to the line by inches!!! Very exciting race from start to finish....also the last win by a Pontiac.

  5. Daytona 500, last year 2007 Clint Boyer finished 18th on his hood.  It was a great, exciting race.

  6. It was last years Pepsi 400, now the Coke Zero 400, when Jamie beat Kyle Busch to the line by just a few inches. That was a great race.

  7. 1) 2003 darlington battle between ricky craven and kurt busch, even past the line

    2) 2007 daytona 500 battle between harvick and martin, with kyle wrecking the field

    3) chicagoland this year - that last restart was a MANIFESTO

    4) the 2007 pepsi 400 battle between mcmurray and rowdy to the line

why, they were all exciting the last few laps and right down to the wire. drivers making serious moves in the last few laps of each race listed made my heart stop.

  8. The All-star race , Just to watch Kasey finish the qualifying race in 4th place ( I was disappointed ) but then to find out 5 minutes later that he got voted in the race by the people (made me happy) so he started dead last. As the race went on I kept watching Kasey Kahne take position after position, next thing I know he's in the top ten (WOW) By this time my heart was beating fast now, 9th place, 8th place, crash ,pit , start rockin again, that's when I had to use the restroom, when I came back Kasey had a 2 car lead to take the checkered flag!

Just to watch my favorite driver get voted in , start last and finish first was a sight to see!!!

  9. 1979 daytona 500

  10. That I have attended: There's 2, last years Pepsi 400 & this years Coke Zero 400 from Daytona.

Last years Pepsi 400 was an absolute exciting ending. Everyone was on their feet & just seeing Jamie Mac win over Kyle Busch by inches, was great.

This years Coke Zero 400 because for, what seamed like, 5 minutes after the caution & checkred flag waved, noone was leaving the stands. We were all on our feet waiting to see who won & most of us were hoping Carl had beaten Kyle. And then, through the headset it sounded like Carl had won, but then the official word was that Klye had won. It was pretty intense.

  11. I use to love "any of the Bristol races before it was resurfaced" because you knew when they went there that it was payback time. I loved seeing the bump-and-runs, tempers flaring, helmet throwing, and people getting robbed of victories. Bristol use to be the place where the soap operas and rivals were created and NASCAR allowed and expected aggressive driving at that track.

I would either be sitting at the edge of the couch or standing up beside the couch shouting, mad, happy, PO'd, cheering,etc...

  12. the 1979 Daytona Race where the "Fight" was televised for millions to see put Nascar on the map(lol)

Allison and Yarborough took each other out and Petty won the

race..I was there with my grandfather and he almost shook me to pieces yelling..get him get him and I could not believe what was happening..all I could see was groups of drivers and officials slugging it out and all I could do was yell for Petty "go, go, go"
