  1. Well I'm a goalie so I gotta go with double zero.  It fills up the jersey and is just too appropriate to pass up.

  2. #20... I miss Colby Armstrong

  3. well probably 99, I guess....but 12 is good, 9 is good, 3 is good, 8, 19,

  4. #1!

  5. There are many talented players who have the number 19.

  6. 00, no wait 99

    dam it

    i meant 12

  7. 7!

  8. If you go by who has worn those numbers : 99, 66,9, 19 4. Those would all be tops

  9. #16

The number of wins it takes in the playoffs...

  10. 4 for defense, 7, 9, 16, 19 for forwards, 29, 30, 33, 35 for goaltenders

  11. 25!!!

  12. I've always liked 26...

  13. 18

you find a number that not too many players have wore. 61 has to take consideration for the Nash supporters out there

  14. Pick the number in the month that is the date of ur bday.

  15. I say 19. And no its not just because of the Great Steve Yzerman. But its been worn by great players

    Joe Sakic

    Joe Thornton

    Jason Arnott

    and so on..

  16. 88.  NO NOT BECAUSE OF LINDROS.  It was my favorite number before he ever was in the league.

  17. One that means something to you (87) my b'day being August seventh (like sidney), or 22 ( two two's)

  18. 9 without a dought!!!!!!

  19. my favorite is 9

  20. 64, and I don't know why!

  21. Traditionally... any number that can be represented with two hands... that is, nothing greater than 55, and nothing between 46-49, 36-39, 26-29, and 16-19... this lets referees hand signal to the scorer.

  22. I read online that kids growing up in the Howe/Richard era always wanted the number 9. When it was the Gretzky/Lemiuex era, kids wanted 66 and 99. Today, we are living in the Crosby/Ovechkin era and the most popular numbers are 87 and 8

  23. 12! Cool looking number, fills the jersey, deserves to belong to a player thats fast and skillfull.

  24. Jason, 9 was taken in juniors- so he doubled it up on the coach's suggestion.

    99, 66, 9 and 4.

    And of course 42....

    Anyone get that?

  25. If you're a goalie then you better have a 30ish number. It just looks right. 35 and 30 would be the better two numbers to choose from.

    If you're a defenseman choose a low number like 2 or 8 or 9....

If you're a forward any number looks fine, but the best two are 66 and 99! lol

  26. 12.

If you notice, all the big  breakaway/powerhouses are number 12.

    It's a center/forwards' number too.

Take 12, there is no way to fail.

  27. 19 - Yzerman

    40 - Zetterberg

    13 - Datsyuk

    9 - Howe

16 - Konstantinov (He was fun to watch...Like hitting a brick frickin wall)

  28. 66 and 99. Why not have the best of both worlds and go with "69"

  29. as for hockey, historically the studs of the team wore number 9, and a junior coach i believe told wayne gretzky that he was too good to be #9 and told him to be #99, at least thats what ive heard.

  30. 14.............just because it is my favorite number.

  31. 19 (Yzerman, Sakic, Thornton, Naslund..)

13 has some good ones (Kozlov, Sundin, Datsyuk..)

other than that, it's pretty spread out I think..
