What is the best nvidia driver to date?

at the moment i use 169.21 as i know that it ist faulty and it works fine after reverting to it back from a recent driver. I release that a new 177.83 but im not so sure its worth updating if i want to see increased performance in all my games.

What card are you using?

On the 8800m GTS that i have i'm running a hacked version of the 8800GTX Desktop Driver ver 175.63.  It's very stable and run efficently for the applications i want to run.

Alot of people now swear by the 179 release drivers with the physX intergrated driver.  Its more powerful than the one i use, but it gives up certain preformances and stability.  Plus i've never really been impressed with physX as it kills your frame rate to give debris

But if your not running an 8800mGTS or GTX then this really isnt helpful to you as different cards do better or worse on diffrent drivers.
