Oh by the way, anything but a teacher. I'm not much of an educator.

  1. If you're into the arts, there are many types of therapies that are very interesting to choose from. There's art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy etc. I'd suggest vocational testing and counselling would be the best place to start with. They can help you discover what you'd be good at and then narrow down the possibilities with you.

  2. You can take your exam at a nursing school and become a Personal care worker at a day school.. they play and do creative things with mentally disabled children they don't teach them but they try to awaken the creative side in them and they have to also tend to their physical needs..toilet them.. etc. so you have to apply at a nursing school and become a careworker and you should make clear you wish to work with mentally disabled children.. you will have to be creative.. paint, do different craftwork with them. Take them to the bathroom, some will also be physically impaired so you need to have nursing skills...ask at a nursing school it should take 2 years to get your diploma... I am a personal support worker working with mentally or physically disabled people but I don't take care of children. they are in day care from 8 am to 4 pm I think... xx

  3. Mental Health Counselor...(Masters degree required)..I'd go for that..(I'm actually going for a Masters in Counseling right now)
