I am looking at cruises and every destination seems to have a point where the prices drop dramatically ( for example, bahamas in september) Where is the best place to go when these prices drop. I know they drop for a reason and dont want to be caught in some really bad weather. Thank you!

  1. hurricane season is the best also summer vacation it be over and there are less people

I love to take cruises I will be taken another one this year= and wen there is bad weather you will be taken care of

  2. I would avoid the September to November time period. That is hurricanee season and even if you don't have a hurricane you will have increased wind (choppy seas), and a much greater chance of rain and overcast weather. The ideal time in the last week of November and the first two weeks of December. The rates are still fairly cheap and the weather will be a big improvement. I have done this twice now and have been very pleased on both cruises. (However it is better to go in May although you will pay more the weather will be great and you can still partially avoid the high summer prices)

  3. not really sure but www.searchetickets.com will have the answer.

  4. Hurricane season is in September so that is why the drop in prices to the Bahamas. Also if you want to go to Alaska for the least amount of money, take the earliest date which is in May but you have run into some snow or it will be colder.I went to Alaska the end of May and it was great, no regrets at all. That was my favorite cruise/tour of all time.
