I've been doin yahoo for years which works great. But this year I thought I'd try out CBS Sportsline to see how that is cause I hear it updates the scores for free as it occurs.

  1. ESPN is simply the best

  2. NFL.com...its all free also

  3. I enjoy ESPN. It is easy to use and you can have multiple teams on the same account. Also they have good info and it is a great site

  4. fflivewire.com has up to the minute news and updates

    fanball.com  another great website

    fftoolbox.com

    askthecommish.com

    si.com

all these sites are all about fantasy football .. and are much better than yahoo and CBS

  5. Espn.com has custom leagues for free, however they have the setup so that you can set league fees. the best thing to do is use one of these sites with a group of friends that you know... your league manager should be responsible for collecting entry fees.

Doing it that way is better than sites that offer pay and play FF. they always take a percentage profits for themself about 30-35% is the average that they take out of the jackpot but I've seen some sites that take up to 50%. ---the cheaper the entry fee is the larger % of money they will take. None of these make sense cause to get them to reward even 75-80% of the jackpot you'll have to spend like $500-2000 to get your team. and who has that kind of money to gamble?

In my Professional opinion the best thing to do is: Find an existing league somewhere online that has a vacant slot to be filled.

If you or anyone else is interested-- I actually have 1 spot open my 6* team $20 cash league which drafts on espn.com (*the number of teams is subject to change, 8 teams may be the final number as I've already had a handful of interested people ask for more info - however the entry fee will remain $20 and as always in our league- 100% jackpot will get paid out!)

Draft info: Saturday August 17th, at 11:45 a.m.

Live draft, serpentine order (random order automatically 1 hour before draft)

It's a modest $20 entry fee payable asap but ***no later than 24 hours before the start of the draft.*** I offer my personal info as collateral so you know I will pay you your award money when/if you win. You would be able to s***w me over for a lot more than $20 if you wanted to.

100% of the money goes to the jackpot, we get to vote via poll to choose how to distribute the jackpot!
