What is the best face cleanser for acne on the market? Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, Nioxin.....??

Ive tried many products (i used to have breakouts almost daily 2 years ago). I even went to the dermatologist and she recommended me to try pro-activ .. i tried it and it only made my acne worse! So she told me to try a cheaper similar version... Acne-free and if that didnt work we would talk prescriptions.

Acne-Free's  three step process works fairly well and runs about 20 bucks at the local wal-mart,meijer,target etc. My skin reacts better to Acne-free's benzoyl-peroxide rather than most OTC products salicylic acid.

Acne free comes in a regular and a severe formula... I prefer to use the Severe formula because when i do get a breakout i know it will be gone within a day or two.

Both come with a face wash,a toner, and a repair lotion with time released benzoyl peroxide. And usually come with some sort of freebie like Acne scar removal lotion etc.

If i dont have the time to do the three steps, wash,tone,and repair lotion...  I use clean & clears persa gel (10% benzoyl peroxide).

It seriously will clear up a pimple in  no time. While its intended as a spot treatment i also use it as a preventitive.

A good ph-balancing soap to use is PHisoderm. It may leave skin feeling a little tender and red (depending on how sensitve your skin is) But it is a good face soap ! I have a better time using that then neutrogena's face washes.

My face is virtually clear, but i still get breakouts every now and then but the benzoyl peroxide clears it up.

Any spot treatment containing benzoyl peroxide works! Clearasil, Clean & Clear and Oxy all make spot treatments that are 10%.
