What is the best out of these camaras????

What brand has the best digital camaras: not slr camaras!!!

So you're looking for a point and shoot? Or a DSLR, as opposed to an SLR?

If it is a point and shoot that you want, I would reccomend the Canon Power Shot SD870 IS. I've had this camera for about half a year and have been very very pleased with it.

If you're looking for a DSLR, I'd go with the Nikon D80 -- not too expensive, but yet still an excellent camera.

I recommend the Canon PowerShot SD1100. You get the same amount of megapixels however, you get a smaller screen, but it comes in five different colors.

  Kodak has the best glass available in digital P&S cameras.

Canon and Nikon make some of the most rugged P&S cameras; I.E. G9, etc.

Olympus and Pentax make waterproof cameras.

Keep in mind that they do make digital cameras that are SLRs. A mirror does flip out of the way to expose a sensor.
