What is the best part of being a christian?

We all know that having eternal life and living in heaven is going to the wonderful. I mean here on earth what is the best part for you. Mine is never having to question God. I know he is real and if no one else believes me then that is there choice. I love serving a living God.

God's love begins with joy that appreciates its friends...

It is being welcomed into God's transcendent joy that makes life such a worthwhile adventure...

Knowing that the future will become so much better than our temporary mortal lives fuels our joy and especially the fact that God will eventually save all His creatures and share His happiness and ultimate infinite experience with everyone - when God becomes the all in each one (1Cor 15:28)...

I agree with you.  The best part of being a Christian for me is just trusting in God and praising and worshiping Him.  I know His word is true and I can stand on His promise.  I know that He is real because of what He has done for me in my life.  Its so amazing.  God will do things for you that you will never be able to do for yourself.  He will take you places you never imagined.  He will do exceedingly and abundantly above all I can think or ask.  Its so amazing.  Its just a wonderful feeling being in Gods presence.  There is peace in God.  I know when I get to heaven that everything will be alright, but there is peace in God here on earth.  Its so wonderful to sever God.  I can go own and own about His goodness.

Wow. Seriously. I can't imagine being the kind of person who would not want to question their god. My gods are like the best professors at any college-open doors and open minds. They want and expect me to question them.

You see, although I've never been a Christian, I'd assume the best part of being a Christian would be the whole following a god that said "Love thy neighbor" and other positive things like that.

But never questioning? If you're never questioning, how do you know what's the best part, anyways?

You don't have to read the Bible... you let the preachers tell you all about it.... You only make sure you pay your full tithe and offerings promptly and on time! No rain checks!

CONTROL BY FEAR is deeply rooted in God’s “Plan of Salvation”… So if you think that you got saved GOOD FOR YOU!!! Make sure that you pay your FULL tithe and offering on time or God the Holy Ghost will zap you on the spot and the Church people will give you a quick Christian BURIAL without notifying anybody in your family. This is the Godly way of “doing” overdue Church account holders after Jesus Christ did away with the LAW of his Daddy God of the Old Testament days! In the Old Testament they were dealing with only one God, in the New we have 2 more identifiable personalities and you cannot “test” God the Holy Ghost! He is very touchy about money issues.

Act 5:9-11 (NIV) Peter said to her, “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?*  (*aka “Comforter”, aka “Helper” by not paying the FULL tithe and offering to the Church!) Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door* (*in a truly Christian burial nobody notifies the death event to any spouse or relative! Have you noticed how bloody cool is Saint Peter about tithing?!) and they will carry you out also.” At that moment SHE FELL DOWN AT HIS FEET AND DIED* (*Praise the LORD! Sweet Jesus! Saint Peter KNEW that she was going to be slaughtered on the spot by the Ghost of God! No intercession whatsoever! Most likely Saint Peter and God the Holy Ghost were conniving together to teach the Church a lesson on giving… so what the heck!!!). Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. GREAT FEAR SEIZED THE WHOLE CHURCH AND ALL WHO HEARD ABOUT THESE EVENTS.* (*yeah… it works all the time! Just have somebody slaughtered in the primitive Church and the rest will learn AND FEAR! It is the Bible way to teach any lesson! What if Ananias and Sapphira had children at home? Who cares? Too bad CNN was not there to report… Christianity would have been involved in a very big scandal! Not even the Mafia behaves like that!)

Any member of God the Holy Trinity team puts to shame any mobster boss intimidating and killing anybody without mercy just to get your attention about paying your tithes and offerings IN FULL and on the spot… NO RAIN CHECKS!!! The Bible writers were very smart! Praise the LORD, sweet Jesus! They thought of everything! Although the preachers today use the "sow the seed and harvest bountifully" scheme to get your money and they do it with a CLEAR CONSCIENCE AND CLEAN HANDS and perfectly legal in most countries where politicians take advantage of people’s religion like in the USA!

Jesus Christ is the best part of being a Christian for me. Coming in the power of the Holy Spirit to live His life through me. That is awesome. As I am more willing to lay down my rights to self, and He increases in me, I find that this world becomes less and less important to me. Not that I care less for others or desire less for all to know Him, but that the things of this world matter less. I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ. These are reflected in my daily life. Peace, joy, love. In the face of the many bad things of this world, I am at peace, I know that God has everything in control. He knows the future. What ever may be for tomorrow, is all in His loving hands. I am loved beyond belief, I have promises beyond measure. And as I live in obedience to His word - He fulfills them in my life.

Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Being healed from total Kidney failure last year after being on a ventilator not able to breathe on my own and the doctors not giving my husband any hope at all. They called my family in, but many family and church family and friends were praying and with Jesus Christ at my side, I was healed. To God be the Glory.

This year I was found to have a large mass in my breast and was sent to a breast surgeon who also found the mass. The surgeon pin-pointed the area of the mass. The breast surgeon scheduled a breast biopsy for the following Wednesday. The day of the biopsy, I came in and got the gown on, the surgeon then did another of those x-rays (what are they called?) the kind they roll over with the wand? ... in order to pin-point the area she would be taking the biopsy. Anyway, she couldn't find the mass so she asked the nurse to get out all my original x-rays which the radiologist did several weeks earlier and which she had confirmed in her own radiological evaluation the week prior. The nurse got out the radiological evaluation and the doctor stated "yes, that is exactly where I am pin-pointed on the breast with the scan but I find NO mass today". She had just seen it last week and showed it to me, thus the reason for the biopsy being scheduled. They kept talking back and forth to each other trying to figure out what had happened. She explained to me she could NOT find any mass as she had found the previous week, but just to be sure she wanted to go ahead and do a biopsy of area where she had seen it the week prior. While they were talking with each other -  not understanding why they couldn't find what they 'had' seen previously, I was lying there smiling and praising God. I had entire peace for all the weeks leading up to this because I had been praying and knew God would heal me. Everyone in our church family was praying as well as me and my husband. I received a call the next week that there was NO mass and no cancer in the breast tissue.

For me it would be never being alone because I battle feelings of loneliness.  Working two jobs keeps me away from the people I love even though I am paying the bills, I still need to be with them and I miss them.  God is always there though and that is a good thing.  I have found it to be true that God does supply all my needs.
