What is the best part of the Phillipines to visit?

I have this image of myself sipping out of coconuts on a beach at night with a live band. At a four or five star hotel resort that is reasonably priced. With friendly people!

if you want to get away from all the people, try these places -

Boracay and Palawan are the best choices although the prices might be the same if not more than other resorts in other parts of the world which are really expensive but you'll get your money's worth.. Most things are way cheaper outside of the resorts though...

A beach at night with live bands is Boracay, another part.

When visiting the Pines you have to do both the big cities and the beach thing. Manila is pretty d**n good for shopping and nightlife but is alittle hectic and can be overbearing at times. Palawan and Borocay have nice beaches and stuff but can be abit pricey especially in peak season but deffintely worth going. But either way I'm sure you will do both while your there.

CEBU....where else? Try Mactan Island resorts. All kinds of Hotels around, beaches, friendly people. It's only a short ride away from the City of Cebu, for great night life. Mactan is the island where you land at Cebu International Airport. Two bridges join to the island of Cebu, where there are even more resorts and fine hotels.

Boracay and Palawan top the list.  They're great places and people are fun to hang out with.  Since they're world-class resorts, however, prices are steep so prepare loads of $$$.

There are wonderful beaches in the Phils, boracay, palawan and bohol.  the latter is a good retirement place, when youre there try to go to bohol bee farm www.boholbeefarm.com im sure youll enjoy the organic food they serve there.
