What is the best part of the us to go to?

I should be going to the us this year or early next year,my mum has family in Washington(state),ive heard it snows alot there in the winter,i wouldn't want to go to new york or washington dc,i think miami is very hot in the summer aswell,i would be going for about a week,where do you think is the best place to go,im 16

Washington State was nicely described by on e of the others. It depends however on the kind of climate and terrain you like. I have a place in Washington as well as live in Arizona. It's all about what you like.

It does not snow a lot in the Puget Sound area Seattle, Bremerton , Tacoma) of Washington, yet just an hour away there is tons of it.  Also winters and summers are both mild (rarely below 30F , 0C in the winter or above 74F , 25C in the summer) in that area.  That said I prefer northern New England (Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine).
