  1. How about a three year old XLR. You will defiantly pull away from the  crowd in any sense of the word.

    Good Luck

  2. The Nissan GTR is $70,000, so that's too expensive. I like Porsches, so I'd tell you to get a 1995 to 1997 Porsche 911. I'd get the Targa, because it has a lot of performance and has a retractable glass roof. They go for around thirty to forty grand. There is also a four wheel drive 911 (carrera 4), if you need to drive through snow.

  3. Lotus Exige S- It doesn't have very much HP or Torque, but it will still get to 60 in under 4.5 seconds. Plus, you'll stand out anywhere you go!

  4. modified Stingray

  5. how about a japanese turbo. I don't like turbo lag myself, but when it kicks in, you get all the power you need and then some. Skyline GTR, etc

  6. A nissan 350z is great for although it costs a bit more than what you stated.

You could go with the Mazda R-x8 or ford mustang(v6 though) bout $30k

  7. Any Honda models (except Accord) will be reasonable.

  8. Pontiac has the G-8 with 361hp and 385ft lbs of torque. It's around 30k.

  9. Chevy Corvette.

It is known as the best performance car for the money.

BMW Z4 M Coupe is also great and Porsche Boxster S.

  10. Torque is the power of the car in low RPMs, HP is the power in high RPMs, you can notice that two stroke engines have a kick in high RPMs but very weak in low RPMs that's because they have low torque and high HP. Diesel engines have high torque low HP, that's why they are used in trucks, and industrial machines coz they need torque not hp.

Now for the car question, get Chrysler 300C SRT8. It's under $50K, it's luxury, and it's fast as h**l, Period.

  11. Used late model Corvette. Best bang for the buck, bar none.

  12. R34 GTR

  13. A stripped Vette is just barely under $50k.  Don't get much better than that bang for your buck.
