What is the best permanent hair dye out there?

I have icky brassy colored hair right now, and I want a permanent medium brown color. What is the best box hair dye I could buy? I've tried Feria before and it worked fairly well. I have green eyes and fair skin. But I love brown hair on me. So any suggestions would be great!

I've tried a bunch of dyes of all colors [lol (: ] but so far, in my opinon, my favorite is actually the cheaper kind, the Revlon ColorSilk one.

It's permanent. It's around 3 bucks and comes in a bunch of colors from super light blonde to jet black. I've tried strawberry blonde, medium brown, auburn, and their jet black. Loved them all. Medium brown was my favorite and I'm sure you'll love it too (:

perfect ten! it only take ten minutes it's true to it's color scale on the box and the color stays nice for longer then any others I've tried and trust me thats A LOT!!!
