What is the best pet to keep?

A cat!! All they need is good food, clean water and lots of love, otherwise they can pretty much take care of themselves. They are small and generally "self-cleaning". Dogs are great but need a lot more attention. Having a dog is like having a small child.

It all depends on the pet that you want to have. I have rabbits that I adore that takes up a bit of attention, but is all worth it in the end.

It really depends on what your likes are.  I have a lot of pets and I would say the easiest to take care of are the cats and the fish.  Pretty self sufficient. If you want a more involved pet, a snake, (I have a ball python) or guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, hampster, etc.  (I have all but a hampster, but have had them).  And if you want something close to a kid when it comes to supervision, a dog.  good luck with your choice.

If you only have one I would say a cat. Most cats are territorial and they dont like others. Dogs are a nice pick as well though because if you get the right one and discipline it well they are very loyal.

Hamsters are super cute and smart, and extremely simple to care for.

Parakeets are very intelligent, and they are easy and fun to take care of!

Guinea pigs are cool, but a little more work is required! They are worth it if you know how to properly take care of them!

Fish, are very simple, and pretty, but not very fun.

Dogs are awesome, but they require a lot of work!!  

Cats are cute and fun! They also require a lot of work, but less than dogs!

Probably a dog. They're more loving and caring towards you and you can play with them and take them out and make a real relationship with them :) Their like part of the family too. Well my dog certainly is :) Cats are great aswell if you don't wanna fuss around and take them for walks. Fish are very easy to take care of so are the best if you don't want much work. Guinea pigs and hamsters are fun but need cleaned out alot. Hamsters tend not to live for very long either :(

i think it REALLY depends on what you want and what your lifestyle can handle

dogs are great, but they are a lot of work

BUT it's pretty easy to find a kennel if you are going out of town

cats are more independant

but typically can't do the same things you would with a dog

fish are good, can be left alone for a few days

but don't play with you

rabbits are cute but require more attention than you might think

reptiles are neat, but often need to eat bugs.not sure if you are into that?

It depends if you want it to be easy to mantain or friendly i have 2 dogs and there great to have but they can get loud with barking and fish are easy to mantain but you have to remember to feed them and most rodents are nocturnel so they get annoying if there in your room and your trying to get to sleep you could hear them and most birds get annoying and some reptiles are kind of weird if your a girl but sort of cool if your a boy
