I will be going into my second year in october and already have permission from the landlord to have any pet that I can keep in a cage/tank. I will be at university all year but on occassion may be away all day, are there any pets that do not need regular feeding?

Im interested in any reptiles (other than snakes) and anphibians, also some more interesting rodents, like chipmunks or degu.

My original preferance was a turtle, but i hear they are expensive to look after, and need a lot of care?

Thanks for any advice!

  2. A cheerleader.

  3. I don't really know of any animal that does not need to be fed on a regular basis besides a snake. Adult snakes go 2 weeks between feedings before it's fed again, young snakes once a week.

You could try an anole, which is an observatory reptile, in other words, not to be held or interacted with. Buying a box of crickets, punching a hole in the bag/hole and the crickets will come out at a maintained speed. This should last nearly a month before you have to feed the lizard again.

Good luck finding a pet. (:

  4. a mouse.they are small and cute and trainable.they are fine without attention for a day.

  5. Mt female Cockatiel  The most loving pet i have owned  she greets me with kisses and alerts my wife  when i gasp for air. I have sleep apnea
