What is the best pitch in fastpitch softball?

riseball...I'm not a pitcher but they usually use it in a count like 2-2 or 3-2 to get that last strike

i would have to say the drop. if someone does hit the rise ball its could be gone.

or a high inside pitch.

i struck out 3 times on the same pitch!!

I don't know when to use it though...because i'm not a pitcher

I have to agree with those you have already said, rise ball.  It is without a doubt the most effective pitch in fastpitch softball.

Even though I dont play softball, I play baseball, I know that no matter how good a pitch is, if you can't place it, or use it in the right situations, it's worth nothing.
