What is the best pizza joint in NYC?

So sick of Papa John's and Domino's. I want real food!

When you come to NYC try the following places (i dont know how long u will be here).

My favorite is Vezzo at 178 Lexington Ave @ 31 St.   They only do pizza and they do it right.

Second fave (in Queens) is Manetta's since they have awesome brick oven pizza. It is thin crust and full of flavor. They also have great Italian dishes (pasta and all).  Try the Fetticune Rosse.

Word to the Wise: Skip places like Grimaldi's and John's. They might be famous but they are not worth the wait.

Vezzio is good, it's in my neighborhood. I also like Belle Napoli on Madison an 31st and Arturo's on Houston.

i would try making your own. make your own crust or buy a boboli pizza crust and fill it up with your own ingredients. pile it high in the sky though, for it wont be as good.
