Robins answer is so wrong, i wonder if he's ever been there himself, Brighton is a cool place and no way is it a place to go and die, it has hundred's of restaurants and all of good quality and reasonable price's Some of the best ones are in "The Lanes" but then it all depends on what you like to eat, but go there and check it out.

Probably not the best but the Taste of India, on the seafront next to the Metropole used to serve a decent curry.

The Genghis Khan is supposed to be pretty good but I have never eaten there.
