  1. It depends what part of Bangkok you are in...Samakorn ,Ramkamhaeng..which is outside of the center of the city...there is Ruenos which has really good food...or in Ramhamhaeng, there is moodfood which is good..there are so many places to eat in bangkok and chiang mai, its hard to tell you exactly where to go, when there is a million different food places on every street haha

  2. Chiang Mai: along Suthep road towards the rear entrance of CM university.

Bangkok: Soi 38 (at night), Soi Thong Lor and good place  behind MBK - SamYart (I hope I translated it correct) ask the people around there if you can't find the place.

    Yaowarat- Chinatown

For Esan food- Try cross the river on Thonburi side. Ladya Rd. (whole street is Esan food)

    Too Many places to name.

  3. BANGKOK:

Harmonique Restaurant on Charoen Krung Soi 34. A delightful restaurant occupying 2 old shop-houses the place is filled with plants and antiques and is run by three charming ladies (sisters).

The food, modern Thai, is excellent.

For Vietnamese food visit La Dalat on Sukhumvit Soi 23. Not far from the end of Soi Cowboy. A beautiful old house, sumptuous decor and wonderful food.

There is also a fish and chip shop on Soi 23 on the left just a few yards down from Sukhumvit.

Look out for Baan Kanitha Restaurant and Gallery. I can't tell you where that is because it's moved since I last went there. But it is well known, your hotel will b able to get you the address

  4. In Chaing Mai there is a huge market there that has a huge food court where you can pick anything.  If you stay at the hostel Spicythai, that is the best place to stay in Chaing Mai... and the guy will actually take you to this place where you eat out of a wok like bowl thing and they have all sorts of meats and veggies, fruits, desserts you name it, and its all you can eat buffett for something like $5.  I dont remember the name of it, but if you stay at that hostel they will take you there, or can at least ask the owner about it b/c he drove us out there.  If you stay there

4/80 Nantawan Village its located there, there is a road there with tons of places to eat and after that there is a place to get massages done... which were the best I have had and they do speak english and are very friendly, there will be plenty of food places out there...

Bangkok, if you go to Sumkumvit Rd (sp?) there are tons of places to eat a long there and also Khoason Rd (sp?) very popular spot to hang out and drink/eat/party as well.  Thats the main hang out spots in Bangkok... lots of food places. If you just get food from the vendors on the street, they are excellent. Pad Thai is about 60 cents, which is CHEAP and filling!

  5. Bangkok:I'd recommend you to try some restaurants along the river

  6. I think a good place to eat would be M.K. In most malls there is an M.K restaurant. It has very good food there. If you do go to M.K get the duck. It's really good. Good luck!
