  7. When I was a chef and worked in Toronto I worked at few nice places, some are no longer in business, not my fault??

For a nice steak or seafood I would recommend Barberians on Elm St, if your into spicy Thai food acrossed the street is the Bangkok Garden on of the best Thai places in town.

My friend Mark McKwens places are very nice, North 44 or his new place on King and Bay, ByMark.

If your in a good mood then Truffles at the Four Seasons is great, I worked at the old Westbury Hotel in the late 1980's and we had one of the best dining rooms, Creighton's, long gone and in the early 1980's before I went west, I worked at a place called the Pearcy House it was on Bloor near St Thomas, went down in 1984, but had a glass ceiling and two levels with an indoor garden, we had watermelons growing in it because people used to put the seeds in with the shrubery.

  8. Rocco's plum tomato! It is an Italian place and everything is made fresh when you order. The dishes are normally around $20- $25 dollars a plate. THE FOOD IS AMAZING! here's their number 416 2345555
