What is the best place to go shark fishing?

From my shark fishing experience I am going to have to say the Bahama Islands. Sharks are everywhere down there. Granted this is just from my personal exp, but you can catch all kinds of species of sharks without having to go very far or very deep.

Depends on what type of shark you're looking for and how far you're willing to go.

I know east coast has good fishing for makos but far off the coast

down south you have white tips and reef shars (florida area) but you can find some along the gulf coast

don't know much about west coast  but I have heard of a few people catching sharks in the central california region on up to alaska

if you want to catch some serious sharks and have the money to spend I would suggest Panama ( not panama city Florida) I mean Central America. On the carribean side is probably one of the highest shark populations  in one concentrated area.  some you can even fish from shore. I never did shark fishing while I was there but I did have a blast catching Peacock Bass in the canal

in the ocean where the sharks are might be a good place to start. Of course i could be wrong, it happens all the time.
