  1. You life in the northeast, then try going to ECHL games or AHL games.  Where I live I go see the Wheeling Nailers and Johnstown Chiefs, its cheap and its good hockey.

  2. AHL games are lots of fun usually.  Depends on where you live.  When I used to live in Grand Rapids I would go check out Griffins games to see some of the future stars for the Red Wings or even some of their rehabing usuals.

  3. If you want to see an NHL game Atlanta.

  4. try the long beach bull dogs..its cheaper and close and fun !!

  5. Minor leagues. AHL and ECHL have pretty good prices.

  6. In the US and Canada, the NHL is the best league.  Other leagues exist for fun, or to "feed" developing players into the NHL.

That's not to say that other leagues aren't fun to watch.  Many cities have a minor league team, a university team, or a high school team.  I've been to each of those, and they were all fun, and much cheaper than NHL.

  7. Most Cities have leagues, as well as Regional, many organizations sponsors teams..Big Companies and Corporations,.Depends on what City you are in, even Church groups have hockey teams...yellow pages under sports and recreations, or bring up on the computer the city then activities..Before one hits the NHL they go city, Regional, District, Provincial or State.....good luck and thanks

  8. you in canada or where?

in Canada the CHL is great. so the WHL if your in the east or the OHL if your out east.

other then that, you can go to any ice arena or call and at night later usually there is hockey

  9. Or how about seeing any NHL game at sit up in the nose bleeds at a cheap price???

Some NHL teams( like the Coyotes) offer a discount if you have either a student or military ID.
