  1. Check our owner's manual.  It'll have jack points in there.

If you don't have a manual, try to hit the frame behind the front tire.

  2. Most cars have a specific spot you are supposed to jack from, usually its just behind the front wheel well or just past the opening from the door. Usually the sheet metal seam on the botton will have a little notch the length of the top of the jack.

If you are using your own jack or one not meant for the car, I'd make sure you are getting under a solid part of the frame so you don't punch through the sheet metal.  On my truck you put the jack under the arm that has the spring for the wheel.

If its a really old car (like 60's) I believe you jack under the bumper.

  3. theres places look under the car and feel around you cant just jack it up any were

  4. Well first off I was going to make a joke..

But really under the axle in back, there is usually a space specifically for a jack

    GOOD LUCK

  5. I'm not quite understanding. Please reword, or maybe it's just me

  6. Each car has special spots, where you put a jack. No other places should be used, but if you have to ask, YOU should not try it even there.

  7. there will be a jacking point, look in manual, if you cannot find manual look on line for manual

  8. In a garage obviously.

  9. If you have an hydraulic jack especially, look for a frame cross-member right under the engine... if you can't find anything there then read your owners manual (if you have one) and I am sure it marks points.

Don't do it on the lip at the undercarriage of your car... and if you are using a standard car jack, I wouldn't do it under the cross-member.

Check around the lip I just mentioned, and there is usually an area with a slot in it or a reinforced section designed for a jack.

    Hope this helps.

  10. ~On a solid, flat surface, preferably well away from traffic.  Same rules apply to jacking up the rear.

Most bumpers today won't support the weight.  Don't use it.  You certainly wouldn't want to jack-off your bumper, would you?

  11. Check your owners manual.

Any wrong  information can cause structural damage!

  12. HeadLights, then the hood, then grill

  13. windshield

  14. the roof or the.................................tail light area

  15. i jack mine up under the control arm.
