  1. there aren't any places because the surrounding area to park in the neighborhoods are strickly permit parking only.


  2. May I suggest you put this in the San Jose section for more informed answers.

    Unless your "j" was a typo and you meant SFSU.  Parking is a c**p shoot; go west of the campus for street parking.  However, I'd really recommend using the parking structure.  It's not that expensive.
