Well realizing that Long Island is over 100 miles long and 26 miles across, it's hard to recommend one location for you to rent from without knowing exactly where you will be staying.  So instead I'll give you a list of boat rental sites to try.  I realize most of them  won't rent jet skis, but some of them do.
