I want to go to the daytona 500 next year in 09' where are the best most lowest cost seats. Please only respond if you have been to a race there and know. We are definitely not looking to spend $400 a ticket.

Thanks in advance

  1. Oldfield and Depalma sections.  Resonable price and great views. Avoid the backstretch(AKA superstretch) like the plague.   If the person on the phone says thats all they have tell them you don't want them. They try to sell them first because they are the worst seats in all of Nascar.

  2. The cheapest is the superstretch (aka backstretch). However I would suggest setting somewhere along the frontstretch. We were there last July & are going again next weekend & we sit on row 5. This year we are right behind the start/finish line.

Next year we will probably get seats a little higher than that. I would suggest you sit up a little higher too. That way you should be able to see the entire track.

I would also suggest renting a fanview. It's 75 for the entire race weekend & 50 for sunday only. It will allow you to see what is being shown on the fan vision screens positioned around the track. It also acts as a scanner & you can switch between the different in-car camera views. That way you will be able to see anything no matter where you choose to set.

Good luck & have fun, no matter where you choose to sit.

  3. The Sprint Tower is probably the best seat, but they are usually very expensive. For the 2008 Daytona 500, I sat in Seagrave on about row 40 and the seats were amazing. This is the section at the exit of pit road, so you get to see that and you get to have a good view of the start/finish line. You will absolutely want to sit pretty high because of the big building they have behind victory lane blocking your view of the backstretch otherwise. Its usually a good idea to sit on the turn 1 side of the start/finish line too, so you'll have a better camera angle for the finish! The price is about $150 per ticket but it well worth it! Good luck and have fun!

  4. I sat on the bacstretch, I sat on the exit of turn four, I sat behind the start/finish line and in front of the start finish line and my favorite was the seats in the second terrace right after the start finish line. You can see them come off pit road, cross the line, and go into turn one. The backstretch isn't that bad since you have the tvs so don't pass them up but the frontstretch is that much better.

  5. As high as you can on the front stretch.

  6. in amobile home and watch it on a dish

you aint gonna see near half of the track i dont care where you  sit
