  1. Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Koh Samui!!!

  2. I live Phuket because Phuket is one of the most popular islands in Thailand. This lovely island has a wealth of excellent resorts that cater all travellers who want to get away from it all. From resorts with small unique bungalows overlooking the beach to top five-star resorts with luxurious villas…Phuket has it all everthings.

This island provides an good combination of perfect silky soft white palm-lined beaches, superb hospitality and great value accommodation!

And also offer world class diving in the Andaman Sea, golf at world-standard championship courses or exciting eco-adventures in tropical forests, Phuket is a wunderful place to extend your horizons.

Take speedboat trip to explore the surrounding islands, or enjoy a serene cruise around mystical Phang Nga Bay. Or enjoy Phuket’s vibrant nightlife in Patong Beach.

Phuket has everything you’re looking for. It caters to all tastes, all budget, and promises to deliver a happiness holiday in the exotic surrounds of one of the planet’s most exciting island getaways.

    I prefer lonly planet book

  3. For a place to stay I would suggest Hua Hin. The King and Queen have a Palace there and the beaches seem very nice. Its about 300km (180 miles from Bangkok). You can take a train, a plane or a bus to get there. Because its a resort you should be able to find accommodations to fit your budget.

    Try

The Captain in Hua Hin, Thailand

57/4 Soi Saracam, $23 per night WIFI

Lonely Planet guide is the best

  4. My favorite place on the coast of Thailand is Railay Beach in the Krabi district.  It's beautiful, serene, and has awesome rock climbing.  If you go there, there are 2 sides of the beach one side has cheaper lodging, the other has expensive resorts.  On the cheaper side, Diamond Cave Inn is a great affordable place to stay.

I really like Phuket too, but it has become very crowded in the last few years.  If you stay in Kata Beach it is less crowded.  Kamala Beach, north of Patong is also less crowded and more peaceful.  I guess it just depends on what you're looking for in a beach type place.  If you want throngs of people lining the beach, go to Phuket, if you want a more relaxed atmosphere, go to Railay Beach or Koh Chang.

Koh Chang is also a nice island off the southeast coast of Thailand.  It's far less crowded than Phuket and has several little villages.  Renting a motor scooter is your best bet for getting around both Phuket and Koh Chang.

The best guide book to have if you're thinking about staying along the coast is Lonely Planet's Islands and Beaches guidebook.  If you want an entire country guidebook, I like the Lonely Planet best.

    Have fun!
