I have been rarely disappointed in the places that I have dove.  There is always unique things to see if you know what to look for and know in advance what you can possibly expect to see.

Curacao, part of the ABC islands off of the coast of Venezuela, is a favorite of mine for smaller marine life such as seahorses while the island of Ambergris Caye in Belize is a favorite for more mature and larger forms of marine life.

Cozumel is my favorite for drift diving and Playa Del Carmen was excellent for the number of turtles.

Saba is a favorite both above and below the water because it is basically a mountain coming out of the water.

Grand Cayman's Stingray City dive is out of this world with some of the largest stingrays found.  The wall diving in Cayman Brac is outstanding and a trip over to Little Cayman's Bloody Bay wall is breathtaking.

Puerto Rico is a favorite often overlooked area especially LaParguera area.

Had an excellent shark dive in Roatan, Honduras.

The list can go on and on as every place is unique.  The key is to read up on the areas and what they are noted for and if it sounds like something you would like to see and experience then go for it.

I can only speak for the dives that I have done personally and I am sure that the places that I have yet to go will all end up on my list of favorites.
