What is the best plan to choose budget hotel in Italy?

I am about to stay in Italy for a couple of weeks..So please anybody suggest me good budget hotels....

Two very good site to find cheap hotels in Italy are :

and

Both provide reviews on the hotels (so you can read them and know if this is the right hotel for you; something that is especially important with budget hotels).

If you wrote specific cities, I might be able to help as I have travelled Italy extensively.

It all depends on where you are staying.  We used the Rick Steves guide to find inexpensive places to stay, those places tend to book early so you'll need to move quickly to reserve a spot.
