I would so advise against plastic plates.  Seriously, not only do they look bad they are horrible for the environment.

Spring for rental plates.  This is your wedding not a high school graduation party.

i got mine at sams club.they have the really nice thick ones that look fancy. they have large packages and they have the cups and utensils to go with them as well. check out their website for a location near you.

I just bought another set of dishes for our wedding. Because plastic is SO wasteful and bad for the environment. If you have to do plastic, which might look bad anyway, Chinet has some.

Are you having an outdoor barbecue?  If not, spring for real plates, otherwise it will look tacky.  If you are having it outside, try clear ones, they sell them at places like Party City.
