I'm having second thoughts about using Luxray so much. It's too freaking slow. Is there a good pokemon you can catch by the time you get to Fantina's gym that can learn a good anti-ghost move besides bite?

  1. electric or ghost moves will be perfect for drifblim and ghost moves on gengar and mismagius

  2. pikachu always wins

  3. drifloon sucks because it has a weakness to ghost types as well. But you could send in a steel type. But torterra would be a good choice. Wish i would be more help. Maybe bronzor?

  4. Wait till it's Friday then go to valley window works catch drifloon and train.

  5. Okay, Fantina's three Pokemon are Drifblim (Level 32), Mismagius (Level 36), and Gengar (Level 34).

Now, Drifblim is weak against Electric, Ice, Rock, Ghost, and Dark Attacks. It may seem weak, and it does have poor defense stats, but it has unimaginably high HP. I would go for Electric attacks, because if you don't succeed in killing it in one shot, you have a high chance of affecting it with some kind of status.

Mismagius comes next, and it is only weak against Ghost and Dark Attacks. For Mismagius, I would suggest using a Dark type move because they are more widely learned amongst Pokemon than Ghost type moves.

And then there is Gengar, who, like Mismagius, is only weak against Ghost and Dark types. Use the same strategy for Genger as with Mismagius :)

For Electric Type Pokemon, try using Pachirisu. It is unnecessarily fast, and it know pretty average moves. (It's basically a Pikachu wannabe :P )

For Dark Type moves (aside from Bite), try getting a Pokemon that knows Crunch, Faint Attack, Night Slash, Payback, Punishment, Sucker Punch, or Thief. To find out which Pokemon know those moves, go here: http://www.serebii.net/attackdex-dp/dark...
