.. now that the instant film has been discontinued?

what camera would you recommend in terms of film availability?

i hear that you can use fujifilm in some polaroid models.. i'm interested in the peel-back film, if anyone has any info on its compatibility with polaroid cameras :)

or is there anything else you can suggest? i'm desperate to buy a polaroid camera since my old 600 broke, but i don't want to be stuck with a camera that i can no longer buy the film for!

  1. Look for an older Land Camera that uses the Type 100 Series film like Type 669.  It is a peel apart film, and Fuji Film has a replacement for this film.  They have FP-100C Color film, FP-100B Black and White film, and FP-3000B Black and White film.

I have several cameras that use these types of film.  I have a LandCamera 210, 215, 230, 440, a Minute Maker, and The Reporter.  As long as you buy one of these older films that use Type 100 series films, you should be alright.

Oh, and I've found all of the above cameras at thrift stores for between $2 and $15.

    Here's my stuff:

A bit back there you'll see what the cameras I have look like.
