  1. Depends on where you want to go!!

  2. Even though the itineraries are limited I would say New York.  You get to pass Manhattan, Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty.....its really quite amazing

  3. Where are you going, and where do you live?

  4. this site has info on ports

  5. I have always found that the best port to leave from is the one where your ship is docked.

  6. Harwich :D

  7. Harwich!!

  8. Each port varies depending on which cruise you choose. But once you have found which port you are saling out of, may i suggest going to www.greatports.com. They have great information on transportation, hotels, area attractions etc on all north american ports.

  9. Galveston, TX

  10. The best port is the one closest to you, that way you spend less money traveling to and from.

  11. Port Caniveral

  12. You need to let us know where you want to cruise too

  13. Port Canaveral

  14. The one closest to your home!  I have to fly 12 hours to get to Barbados to pick up my cruise ship.

Oh, poor me...*lol*....but it would be nice at least to have a direct flight.....which I don't!

  15. If you don't want the hassle of taking on the airlines and the TSA there are lots of cruise ports in the USA (23 to be exact) within driving distance for many people. So the choice is not just one answer. Many cruise lines have clean efficient cruise ports such as Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Disney but you could say watching a bustling cruise and container port like Baltimore, New York or Los Angles is kinda cool to watch all the hustle and bustle. International ports are a whole other animal among themselves but South Hampton is very old world British tradition .... was that the Titanic I just saw in the fog?

  16. I would always suggest New Orleans.  You can party the night before in New Orleans (recently voted best place to have a wild weekend in Forbes Magazine) and then enjoy the cruise.  It is like going on two vacations!

  17. Where are you  going. Ive been out of 4 different Florida ports so I can help with those but no clue on others
