What is the best preventive medicine cats under 10 lbs?

My kitten is currently on Revolution but I have noticed her scooting on the ground, which is a sign of parasites. I have an appointment for her at my vet to check if she has parasites. Anyway, I did not realize Revolution did not cover all worms. What medicine or combination of medicines, like Advantage Multi for cats, is best to prevent heartworms, ring worms, hook worms, other worms, fleas, tickes, and ear mites?

Revolution is a very good general medication.  It covers fleas, ticks,e ar mites and most internal parasites.  However, it does not cover tape worms.  You may need to have your kitten dewormed for tapeworms separately.  Especially if the kitten is from a barn environment or is allowed to hunt.  Ringworm is not an actual worm but rather a fungus, so it can't be covered with a routine dewormer but rather is prevented by providing a clean environment for the kitten and treated only if infected.
