What is the best private health coverage plan for a foreign citizen living in australia?

private health coverage seems to be really expensive but also essential since i am not eligible to medicare for not being an australian citizen. I am looking for private hospital and dental coverage , from 3 to 5 years plan.thanks for help.

I am with MBF and I am covered for private hospital but not a dental plan.  With most private health covers you need to join and pay for a whole year before you can claim for anything.  Also, you pay per month and it is not necessary to tell them for how many years you want it for.  Actually it is best not to as you can quit any time - it is not a contract.
