I'm looking for something that won't involve much scrubbing, just apply, maybe scrub a little and it's done.

  1. I clean houses and offices for tough stains like soap scum and water build up I use vinegar.  I use apple cider vinegar because I have it on hand.  Mix baking soda with it too and it will make the soap scum soft and take a a soft toothbrush to the scum.  When taking a shower if you would rinse and dry shower after every use the soap scum will not build up

  2. Any inexpensive shampoo will do the trick.

  3. My favorites are CLR (Calcium, Lyme and Rust) or Easy Off BAM. The commercials are annoying but the product is great! Make sure you have plenty of ventilation and gloves for both though. They are very strong and will give you a headache. But, you won't have to scrub.

  4. Bleach and water works the best.

  5. I swear by the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.  It works wonders on soap scum and on the shower floor, which is almost impossible to get white.

  6. The other day I cleaned all the soap scum off my shower doors by making a thin paste of baking soda and water and rubbing it on the doors and it worked great! In fact, I have never been so impressed with any cleaner until now. It even got out the nasty dirt stains left in the tub by the previous tennants.

Plus, its not harsh on your body or the environment and it is probably in your kitchen right now.

  7. It would have to be something orange based, with a strong citrus content, citrus oils cut through just about everything and, their stronger then most chemicals but not as harmful,

Lysol has a very good citrus Bathroom and Kitchen cleaner.
