I had one that played using the cigarette lighter, now I have one that is a tape that goes into my cassette player. The tape works the best out of the two.But I don't get good quality of the music from either and with some songs it sounds horrible. What should I buy and how much will it cost?

  1. Many people who use the FM transmitters complain about static and interference from radio stations. A better solution is this. It still uses your FM radio, but because it plugs directly into the antenna jack on the radio, static and interference are eliminated. When turned on to play the iPod, the cars antenna system is electrically disconnected. When turned off, your radios tuner functions normally.

  2. monster makes a fm transmitter. they work by "hijacking" an unused fm station.  i would get that.  they range from $40 to $140.  ive had both the $40 and $140 transmitters.  spend the money and get the higher end one, you get what you pay for with these.  you get more channels to choose from and the more expensive one is much more durable.
