What is the best product to use for cleaning bathtub?

Has anyone found a product that really removes soap scum? It seems like there is always a ring around the tub and even though I use products and scrub it, it seems to stay. Any advice?

  1. The best thing I've ever found is Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.  They really work well at removing soap scum and hard water stains.  You don't have to scrub very hard and there are no chemical fumes.  My kids tell me I should do commercials for them. :)

  2. Greased Lightening and a mr clean eraser.

  3. try Tub N Tile, works great!!

  4. Ohyygod:  Try Tilex Soap Scum remover it will eat it off.

    Good Luck

  5. Have you tried powdered laundry detergent?  That seems to work pretty well on soap scum, if you use one of those scrubbing-sponges to apply it and rub it on the scum.  I use this product by Clorox called GreenWorks, which is environmentally safe and seems to work quite well. I have to clean every couple of days, though, and we have completely stopped using bar soap.  I don't want another scummy tub!

  6. Comet

    Reguilar Bleach

    Elbow Grease

    Magic Eraser

    All work

  7. White Vinegar is the best and least expensive for cleaning Bathtub and everything in your home and is environmentally safe to use also safe to use around children and pets Use undiluted on soap scum, mold and mildew stains Good Luck !
