I am going away to college in a few weeks, and instead of taking all my dvd's with me, I want to just copy them all onto a portable hard drive, but I don't know what program would be best for me to do that. I have vista, if that helps. Anyone know???

Thanks a lot

  1. Aimersoft DVD Ripper is the most powerful one that I have used before. It has great power to rip DVD to video of all formats. You can free download here:

Other DVD ripper you can get from:

Unbiased reviews and side-by-side comparisons of DVD Ripper give you enough information to research the ins and outs of a particular product.

Also, you can search some other software:

  2. You could use Windows Media Player.  Use the Rip function to save the dvd onto your computer.

  4. Get AVS Video Converter, it can rip and burn personal DVDs, convert video, split, join, edit, rotate, apply effects, transfer, copy! All key video formats are supported! This is the best tool I' ve been used.
