  1. There's no best sequencer out there, they are all different and suit different people in different ways, I use FL Studio 8.

  2. If you're willing to spend money, you can go to www.ableton.com and get ableton live. It's a pretty good program. For free options, you're probably going to want to use Skale. It's available here: http://www.skale.org/

You should look around for some samples (drum hits, piano sounds, horn sounds, etc) and you'll be able to use them in your song, varying the pitch to get different notes.

  3. Adobe Studio is pretty good.

  4. Some software you could check out:

    - FL Studio

    - Cockos Reaper

    - Cakewalk Sonar

    - Ableton Live

    - Propellerhead Reason

    - Steinberg Cubase

    - Garageband

    - and more... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_aud...

Check the websites and see what looks good to you, then try demo versions before you buy it.

If you like FL Studio, you can get it with 10% discount with this promo link: http://support.flstudio.com/jshop/shop.p...
