What is the best program to make my website?

I'm going to be making a website kind of like Craigslist with ads and listings. What is the best program to create a site like this?

Hi...

Some options are creating your own site from the ground up - using a html tool like KompoZer, or you could use another all in one complete site tool called Site Build It (SBI). That's worth checking out too. You can see it here: http://www.sitesell.com/ideal3.html

I use a SBI site and have had fantastic results.

SBI is a complete suite of tools and does an excellent job in helping you get a site up. Read more about how SBI works - I'm sure you'll find it fascinating.

Well you are going to need to know HTML, and PHP or other Website language as for a program just wont generate a site like craiglist.

Frontpage is obsolete. There are plenty of free ones that are better for simple things. But unless you know php, you are going to need to hire a programmer to do this for you.

The best is Dreamweaver.

Apache is a server, not a website builder.

Joomla is also available as well as about 30 other 1 click content management systems

if u r  going to make a really big site and ur ready to buy some  expensive software , then Dream weaver . Otherwise, Kompozer  (formerly called NVU ) is a free program and here is a good tutorials
