These cassette tapes are no longer available so would like to move them into a digital format (CD?) before they deteriorate too much.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  1. Try jetaudio it is gr8 and has many abilities

  2. I've used Media Jukebox from J. River Media for years to do my Vinyls and cassette, and found it to be an excellent program for this purpose.

It's a free download from here: http://www.mediajukebox.com/ although I mainly used the older version.

You may also like to look at this trial download. It says LP Ripper, but it works exactly the same on tapes. http://www.computing.net/answers/windows...

You also need to setup your player hardware in a spesific way. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Happy listening :)

  3. What is your occupation? Just curious.

  4. you can buy a recorder that plugs into the computer and plays the cassettes on it and you can put it on your computer that way. i was in the mac store couple of days ago and saw a program so they do have one, i just forgot the name of it.
