  1. i live in northern Germany .But the best places for me to visit is Berlin. To Relax northern Germany is great on the north sea.

  2. Bavaria, hands down. You've got the castles, the Alps, the lakes,  the woods, the Lebkuchen, the architecture,... There is just so much, you can live their all your life and still you'll not have seen every sight.

  3. Berlin.  I lived in five different cities in Germany for more than a year each (Frankfurt now).  Berlin is my favorite, but I guess this has to do with personal preference.

  4. Hessen all the way... you have Modern and traditional, Man-made and natural sights, great German and foreign restaurants, wild night-life and plenty of recreation...  Frankfurt was the best, enjoy!

  5. Berlin, actually. I'm a native Bavarian who lived and worked in Berlin for seven years, and it's the capital, after all. I'd recommend it especially in summer; you can take a boat cruise on the river Spree and visit the Glienicker Brücke, where they used to exchange spies in times of the "cold war", and you shouldn't miss "little Istanbul", the mostly turkish populated area of Kreuzberg district. Besides of all the tourist attractions tehy have, such like the Reichstag, the embasssy mile, the "Telespargel" (former TV broadcast tower of the GDR with a rotating restaurant on top) and the "Funkturm" (west German TV broadcast tower, much less impressive), the "Hackesche Höfe", "Unter den Linden", the famous "Hotel Adlon" and the Brandeburg gate. Daimler-Chrysler building at Potsdamer Platz is also worth seeing.

  6. Bavaria by far!!!

    Have Fun...

  7. I likes most of the provinces though spent most of my time in Thuringia and they have AWESOME Bratwurst there and a great Zweibal Markt (Onion Market) every October.

I have much fun yearly there. I also like the other regions as well though!

  8. When I went to Germany I went to Mulheim an der Ruhr, near Oberhausen and Kessel..... I loved it so much I didn't want to come back home. Its in the far west of germany
