  1. macgregger

  2. go with the rife putter it rolls unlike the other putters they bounce alot

  3. a shiny one

  4. I think Oddesy makes the best putters for the price.  I have a Rossey White Hot and love it.

Ping CrazE is good too.  Scotty Cameron's are too expensive for my blood

  5. for a Mallet style its probably the Odyssey 2ball and for a blade either Ping Anser or a Scotty Cameron from Titleist

  6. Try Guerin Rife putters. That's what I use, and I would not trade it for anything.

  7. Well Odyssey is the #1 putter in golf.

I am using a Divine Line 2 ball putter made by Odyssey and I LOVE it. But for yourself, I guess whatever holes your putts! At your local pro shop try a few different putters out, see what you like and what feels good to you!

Having a good consistent putting stroke will definitely help too! Good luck!

  8. Whatever one gets the ball in the hole!

  9. scott

  10. Ping answer.

  11. 1962 Ben Sayers rustless mallet with the patented groovesol sole and square grip.

  12. yup, scotty cameron

  13. whatever feels good for u. i think the oddysey white hot 2 ball putter is the best. too me it has the bast feel at of all of them. do not get a scotty cameron. if it was the same exact putter but without saying scottie cameron on it, it would cost like $75. so get a oddysey and maybe even a ping.

  14. The putter that makes you feel confident that you'll get the ball into the hole.  I've tried a number of putters and feel most confident with a $20 Ram putter.

  15. What's best is going to vary from person to person, as we all have different strengths and weaknesses in our game.  I bought a new putter this year.  I was using an Odyssey putter that I've had for several years that needed to be replaced.  I went to the local golf shop (for me it's Golf Galaxy) and tried a number of putters on their floor.  I've always been an Odyssey guy, so I checked those out, but after about an hour, the salesperson asked me if I ever considered trying a SeeMore putter.  I have trouble lining up my putts on target and maintaining that target line throughout the stroke.

Long story short, I contacted the manufacturer (since they don't carry SeeMore at GG) and made an appointment to visit their office (which is fortunately about half a mile from where I work).  Within 30 minutes I had a putter that I was dropping putts with from all over the practice green.  Their rifle-scope technology helps me set up consistantly on line with my target, and I've cut at least 8 stroke from my game since I made the purchase.  At $150, it's the best golf investment I've ever made.

  16. a Yes! putter. they have the best feel and they roll you get from them is straight and true. the Yes! putters have C-Groove technology which keeps the ball from hopping on impact. they are also very affordable.

  17. Whatever looks best to you when you put it behind a ball. There are hundreds of fantastice putters out there.

You need to figure out whether you like heel and toe weighted putters, centre shafts, conventional, etc, etc.

Try a few out and see what you like - that will be the best putter.

I have around 5 putters and circulate between most of them in a season depending on my mood, conditions etc.

  18. In my mind, the Ping is a great putter, but my next putter will be one of those that has all that metal behind it and looks like a draftsman's tool.  I understand the science behind them, but have yet to check one out.

I do not understand the mentality that justifies spending $400+ for a flashy driver and then going on the cheap with your putter.  You take nearly 1/2 your golf shots with your putter, and maybe 14 shots(on 18 holes) with that driver.  My Ping Anser 2i is prolly 10 years old, but I've gotten used to it.  Paid like $100 for it on an end of year sale, but it's a keeper.

Having said that, I would try out a bunch of diffeerent putters before I dropped any serious cash on one.  Some of the Scotty Cameron putters are like $250 plus, but only your billfold will tell you what you can afford.  I would also invest in  Dave Pelz's short game book.  There's like 300 pages just on putting and yes, there's a lot that goes into striking that ball correctly once you're on the green.

    Good luck

  19. There isn't an overall best.  It all comes down to personal preference, the type of stroke you have, the speed of the greens to play, and so on.  Just try some out and see for yourself.

  20. any oddesy white hots! they are great

  21. any scotty cameron
