Get fitted. The putter for you could very well be a Wilson putter. You have no idea until you get fitted. The best in technology and quality however is either the Two-bar hybrid from Rife or Scotty Cameron putters by Titileist. Scottys are the best raw materials and extremely consistent. Rife makes very ergonomic putters that feel good when you hold them and play them. Odyssey has a lot of technology and no one would look at you funny if you had one that's for sure. A lot of players play them. Last week the Players Championship had 111 previous winners in the field. The two that it came down to were Garcia and Goydos. They both set themselves apart with the flatstick. Sergio Garcia plays a Newport studio by Scotty Cameron. Paul Goydos plays the Monza Spider by Taylormade. Tiger putts a Scotty and has since he turned pro and before then as well. But if you want to base your decision on something base it on this. Padraig Harrington is the best putter on tour with least putts per round. He putts a Yes! putter. And those putters are no joke either. The other stat that is most telling is this. The top five of the year so far in GIR of greens in regulation all have changed their putters a million times except one. Out of these five players only one of them has won this year as well. Anyone making a suggestion doesn't know anything.  A putter is a very personal and a $5 putter may work best for you.  Of course the ones listed are the most popular, mainly because they are used by PGA players who are on gifted and are on TV.   There a million putters out there, go and try a few before you buy one.
